TRUTH: Mercury in tuna is NOT toxic, selenium neutralizes its effects

There are no proven cases of negative effects of human tuna consumption related to mercury (Hg), instead, the positive effects of eating tuna are well documented. When consuming tuna, the mercury level is neutralized by the selenium (Se) level in tuna, making it harmless for us.

But if you still want to guarantee your tuna comes with the lowest mercury concentration, ask your supplier for proof that it was caught in PNA waters, studies show our region’s tuna is the clear winner!
