Director of Pacifical meets with the Prince of Wales
February 15, 2012
Mr. Maurice Brownjohn, commercial manager of the PNA Office and also director of Pacifical c.v., recently met with the Prince of Wales in London, as part of a meeting to launch the International Sustainability Unit (ISU) fisheries programme.

The Prince's Charities established the International Sustainability Unit (ISU) on Fisheries, to help build consensus on how to resolve some of the key environmental challenges facing the world – these include food security, ecosystem resilience and the depletion of natural capital. The ISU works with governments, the private sector and non-governmental organizations with the aim of building partnerships to help address these challenges.

The meeting with the Prince Charles was related to his appointment as Fishing Industry Ambassador, and launch of the programme. The ISU has appointed a group of individuals from the fishing industry around the world, based on their experience and ability to lead change within their sector, as informal advisers to the ISU Marine Program. According to ISU this group of individuals continues to provide valuable advice, assistance and support to the ISU Marine Program.

Mr. Maurice Brownjohn also gave an interesting interview as part of the ISU launch report, you can read it on PAGE 34, by clicking here.
